Mesh network

Every device on one private network

Laptops, phones and servers each get a private IP and a name, so they can reach each other from anywhere.

  • MagicDNS names like office-nas.acme.mesh.
  • Pick a host device to route your internet traffic through.
  • Send files between devices, with drag-and-drop on desktop and the share sheet on mobile.

Site-to-site

Join offices together, router included

Connect whole networks through a hub server or the mesh. Install the Linux site agent, or download a ready-made config for the router you already run.

  • pfSense / OPNsense, FortiGate, MikroTik and UniFi, plus any IPsec or WireGuard device.
  • Each site's LAN routes to the others, with the tunnel status on the dashboard.
  • Optionally send a site's internet traffic through the hub as well.

Dynamic gateways and health

When a server goes down, clients move on

Group servers into a gateway. Seridian scores each one from health checks and client reports, and connections fail over to the healthiest.

  • Health checks from the USA, Europe, Africa and Mainland China.
  • Latency, packet loss, handshakes, reachability and throughput for every server.
  • Clients keep their last gateway list, so failover still works while Seridian is unreachable.

Gateway “eu-west” failover

Example
  1. 09:40

Clients on fra-edge-1, the top-scored member

    WireGuard · 11 ms from Europe · 0% loss

  2. 09:41

Probes lose fra-edge-1, its score drops

Europe and USA report 100% packet loss

  3. 09:42

A client's handshake goes stale and it moves on

Next in its list: ams-edge-2 · 14 ms

  4. 09:42

    Connected through ams-edge-2

Same connection, already a peer on every gateway

  • Pointer, scroll, keyboard and text input when the host allows control.
  • A session log on the host device.
  • Control Windows, macOS, Linux and Android hosts; iPhones and iPads share their screen view-only.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Do I need my own cloud account?

No. Managed servers run on Vultr, DigitalOcean or Hetzner and are billed through your Seridian plan. If you'd rather use your own hardware or VPS, install the agent with one command and it's a self-hosted server.

Which protocol should I use?

WireGuard is the best default. Use IKEv2 or SSTP when a device can only use its built-in VPN client, and VLESS + REALITY, AmneziaWG, Hysteria2 or ShadowTLS on networks that block or throttle ordinary VPNs.

What's the difference between a VPN server and the mesh?

A VPN server gives people an encrypted route to the internet or a network through that server. The mesh connects your own devices to each other with private IPs and names, and can route internet traffic through a host device you choose.

Can I connect my office router?

Yes. Seridian generates configs for pfSense / OPNsense, FortiGate, MikroTik and UniFi, and for any other IPsec or WireGuard device. Linux machines can run the site agent instead.

How does gateway failover work?

A gateway is a group of servers that Seridian ranks by health. Each client gets the list in order and moves to the next server when its handshake goes stale, so a regional outage doesn't take everyone offline.

Where are health checks run from?

From the USA, Europe, Africa and Mainland China. They measure latency, packet loss, reachability and handshakes, with throughput tests from the USA, Europe and Africa.

How is billing handled?

Through Stripe. Owners and admins pick a plan and manage payment details from the Billing page. Managed servers added or removed mid-month are prorated. See the plans above.
